We are very excited to announce that in conjunction with Cedar Hills Youth Theatre and the new Creekside Theatre Group, The Creekside Theatre Fest will be offering Intermediate Musical Theatre Acting Classes during the festival this year for youth ages 12-18!

The classes will be held Monday-Friday June 11-22 from 9:00-12:00 in the morning.  In the class, students will learn the more advanced nuances to acting in Musical Theatre as they rehearse a Musical Theatre Review to perform at the Creekside Theatre Fest as a Pre-show before The Giver on Tuesday, June 26 and Much Ado About Nothing on Wednesday, June 27. Location of classes are to be determined

The classes will be taught by Jeanelle Long and Kristian Huff. 

Jeanelle has been consistently seen on the mainstage at BYU over the last two years as she worked towards her BFA in Acting.  Over the last 4 years, Jeanelle has been an integral part in the popular Cedar Hills Youth Theatre as an educator.  Jeanelle has worked as a choreographer for Highland City Arts Council and was named  Best Actress in a Play in the state of Utah for her titular portrayal in The Diary of Anne Frank by the national news organization, Broadway World.

Kristian is an MDT major at Brigham Young University where he has played multiple roles with the theatre department.  Kristian was recently seen as Corny Collins in Hairspray at the Scera Shell and as Jack in BYU's production of Into the Woods.
