High-School Summer Internship Program

What is it? 

The High-School Summer Internship is a PAID Internship that gives students interested in theatre the opportunity to work with some of the best professional actors and directors in the state of Utah.  


Students who are a a part of the program will have the opportunity to work backstage at one of the festival shows this summer as well as perform on-stage in a small speaking or ensemble role.


Who Can Do it?

Any student who will be completing their 9th, 10th or 11th grade year in the same year of the festival or is home-schooled and between the ages of 15-17.  The student must have completed a Theatre 2 or equivalent course in high-school or worked multiple years with a youth theatre or home-school program.  


How Do I Get picked? 

6 Students will be selected in April after an application and interview process.  Application for the 2018 season is now closed.  Check back on this page early 2019 to learn about the opportunities for the 2019 season.  Any questions can be sent to jordanlong@liahonaed.com
