London Allen    G- Rosemary

London’s acting journey started when she was cast in a children’s ensemble with Timpanogas Arts Foundation, from there she went on to do shows with Cedar Hills Youth Theater including Annie Jr. (Sandy), Mulan Jr. (Ancestor), Little Mermaid Jr. (Seagull), Hairspray Jr. (gym teacher), School of Rock (ensemble), James and the Giant Peach Jr. (Ladybug), and most recently Mary Poppins Jr. (Mrs. Brill).  She has also been in Honk! The Musical and Once on This Island with the Creekside Theatre Fest and is excited to join the cast of The Giver. She would like to thank her family (especially her mom) for their constant support and also John Laurens and Alexander Hamilton for being so awesome.


Nicole Allen    G- Chief Elder

Nicole is excited to step back onto the stage and join the cast of The Giver. Recent stage credits include A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Once on This Island, The Mousetrap, Curious Savage, Honk! The Musical, Standing, Still Standing, The Diary of Anne Frank, and Barnum the Circus Musical. She is the producer of Creekside Theatre Fest and Cedar Hills Youth Theater, but enjoys the acting part most.  She wants to thank her three amazing kids and give a massive shout out to Jake—her partner in crime, her biggest fan, the guy she begs to join her on stage every time and almost every time gets told no.  I love you and I’ll get you to join me one day…one day!


Adam Argyle    M- Don John

Adam has always enjoyed the stage. He tends to gravitate more to period pieces
especially Shakespeare. Some of Adam’s favorite roles have been Tybalt (Romeo &
Juliet), Richard (The Lion in Winter) and Wentworth (Persuasion.) In addition to Romeo
& Juliet Adam has appeared in several of Shakespeare’s works including Macbeth
(Macbeth), Julius Caesar (Caesar, Octavius), The Merry Wives of Windsor (Master Ford)
and Othello (Iago.) As a fight director, Adam has years of experience with swords and
scenes he has choreographed have won awards at both local and national levels. Most
recently Adam was seen as Antonio in the Creekside Theatre Festival’s production of The
Tempest. Adam is forever indebted to his lovely wife, Michelle, and daughter Darcy, for
allowing him the opportunity to pursue his passion.


Jordyn Aspyn    M- Margaret

Jordyn is a graduate from Southern Utah University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre. Some of her favorite projects include Percy in The Spitfire Grill, Trisha in Five Women Wearing the Same Dress, Maureen in Rent, Chava in Fiddler on the Roof, directing Heathers the Musical at SUU; Poppy in Noises Off, originating the role of Janine in Under Construction the Musical at the Neil Simon Festival; The Utah Shakespeare Festival 2015 summer season. She is happy to be joining Creekside Theatre Fest for their 2018 season.



Jordan Bennion    M- Seacol

Jordan is very excited to be a part of the Creekside Theatre Fest this year. Jordan was seen two years ago as Puck in A Midsummer's Nights Dream with the Creekside theatre Festival. Recent credits include Mortimer (Mary Stuart), Prince Topher (Cinderella), Joe Keller (All My Sons). He is thankful to the directors for casting him and hopes you enjoy the show!




Ella Brammer    G- Lilly

Ella is excited to join the Creekside Theater Fest this summer as "Lily" in The Giver. She has enjoyed performing with the Cedar Hills Youth Theater in the productions of Mary Poppins Jr. and James and the Giant Peach as well. She previously studied with Utah Copa and Up With Kids in their musical theater programs. When Ella isn't onstage you can find her on the soccer field playing for Utah Surf or long boarding around her neighborhood.




Kaelynn Bybee    G- Fiona

Kaelynn has always dreamed of performing professionally in theater and could not be more thrilled to join the Creekside Theater Fest this summer!  She comes from Liahona Preparatory Academy where she serves in the Theater Presidency and just finished Mary Poppins with the role of Jane Banks with Cedar Hills Youth Theater.  Kaelynn got her start with her first role as Gretyl in The Sound of Music when she was 8 years old, and it was clear that she had a flare for Musical Dance Theater and Acting.  Other credits include: Peter Pan (fairy), Fiddler on the Roof (candle girl), Little Mermaid Jr. (Flounder), Into the Woods (Little Red), Annie Jr. (Annie), Beauty and the Beast Jr.(Babette), Hairspray (Nicest Kid in town), Our Town (young Emily), Antigone and Munich (young Sophie Schulz), School of Rock the musical (Summer band manager), Captain Louie (Amy the broom), King Henry V (Shakespeare Best Actor Award and Larry Lott Scholarship), and Robert McCaire/Deadshot (Louisa).  Love and gratitude to Mom and Dad, my best friend, voice lesson teacher Laurel, and my favorite director Jordan Long.


Barak Davis    G- Jonas

Barak Davis is the 5th child of 10 children. Barak has been acting and performing since he was 5 years old. Barak won first place with his trio scene at the National Shakespeare Competition in Cedar City in 2016 at the age of 12. He has been in many plays and musicals. Some of his favorite roles have been Zach Mooneyham in School of Rock the musical, Charlie in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Louie in Captain Louie Jr. When he isn't acting he enjoys Playing the cello, Parkour, Fortnite, and wrestling his 6 year old brother.


Joshua Durfey    M- Friar/ Sexton/ Balthasar

Josh Durfey studied Bachelor of Fine Arts at Southern Utah University. He last performed with Sierra Reparatory Theatre’s production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream as Lysander. Previous shows include: Ferdinand in The Tempest, Benny Southstreet in Guys & Dolls, Neleus in Mary Poppins, and more at the Utah Shakespeare Festival; Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Joseph) and Cinderella (Christopher) at Starlight Mountain Theatre; Bandito Rides Again (Rupert) at Pickleville Playhouse; Bat Boy the Musical (Edgar/Bat Boy), Romeo and Juliet (Prince), and As You Like It (William) at Southern Utah University.  He is ecstatic for this production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream and hopes you enjoy it as much as he did preparing it.





Carl Ernstrom    G- Ensemble

Carl is happy to return to Creekside after playing Alonso in last year’s production of The Tempest.  This will be Carl's second season with the Creekside Theatre Fest.





M. Chase Grant    M- Benedick

M. Chase Grant is excited to be back on the stage with such a talented cast and production team at the Creekside Theatre Festival. His favorite recent roles include, CORIOLANUS (Coriolanus) with Grassroots Shakespeare Company, CLAUDIUS (Hamlet) with BYU Theater Department, and MACBETH (Macbeth) at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre in London. Chase received his M.F.A. in Theatre with an emphasis in staging Shakespeare from the University of Exeter, UK, and currently teaches Directing and Acting courses for the theater department at Utah Valley University.



Michael Hess    F- The Prince

Michael is stoked to be joining the talent that exists in the Creekside Theatre Festival. After many years off the stage, Michael began performing again last year by playing Harry Beaton in Brigadoon at the Scera Shell Outdoor Theatre. Other acting credits include Macbeth (Banquo), Love’s Labour’s Lost (Longaville), Peter Pan (Noodler the Pirate), and Camelot (Squire Dap). Michael is currently studying at UVU and is a professional ski instructor when there is snow to ski on.



Chris Hults    G- The Giver    M- Don Pedro

Chris teaches and directs Drama at Maeser Preparatory Academy, and is a member of the Stage Directors & Choreographers Society. He has degrees in Philosophy, English, and Theatre, and soon will have a Masters in Theatre History & Critical Theory. Chris has directed, performed, and taught professionally in California, Pennsylvania, and Utah. Favorite roles include C.S. Lewis in Freud's Last Session (The Next Stage), Touchstone in As You Like It (Nittany Valley Shakespeare Co.), Kent in King Lear, Malvolio in 12th Night (Grassroots Shakespeare Co.), and Lenin in Tom Stoppard's Travesties (BYU).




Alice Johnson    G- Mother    M- Hero

Alice Johnson is excited to be a part of her first Creekside Theater Fest production. Alice graduated with a BFA in Acting from BYU. Her favorite credits include Mary Musgrove in Sense and Sensibility, and over 18 characters in the local production of War of the Worlds. Coming in September Alice will be seen in the Book of Mormon videos for the LDS Church.





Jeanelle Long    F- Milkmaid

Jeanelle is  excited to be returning to the Creeside Theatre Fest once again this summer, after appearing in Once On This Island (TiMoune) and A Midsummer Night's Dream (Helena) in 2016 and The Tempest (Ariel) last season. Jeanelle is currently studying in the BFA Acting program at Brigham Young University where she recently appeared in Mary Stuart (Hannah Kennedy) and the National Premiere of Chariots of Fire (Ensemble).  Other recent credits include The Curious Savage (LillyBelle Savage) and The Diary of Anne Frank (Anne Frank, Broadway World Salt Lake City Award for Best Leading Actress in a Play)




Joleah Long    M- The Watch

Joleah Long loves the theatre and is so greatful for the opportunities this festival provides. Other Shows - Mary Stuart(Mary Stuart), Cinderella(Fairy-godmother/Marie), Antigone in Munich(Sophie Scholl, world premier reading), School of Rock(Rosalie, regional premier) Thanks to my family and this cast and crew who have guided me through this experience.



Jordan Long    F- Servingman


Jordan is a graduate of Brigham Young University.  This is Jordan's 3rd year with the Creekside Theatre Fest. He is currently the head of the Nationally Award Winning Theatre Department at Liahona Preparatory Academy.  Recent acting credits include: L. Frank Baum in Oz (Creekside); A Midsummer Night's Dream (Creekside); The Curious Savage (Highland Arts Council); Honk! (Cedar Hills Arts Council); The Diary of Anne Frank (Highland Arts Council); Barnum (Timpanogos Arts Foundation); Aida (Timpanogos Arts Foundation); Go Dog Go (BYU); Damn Yankees (Sandy Arts Guild). Jordan serves as the Artistic Director and was a founding member of the Creekside Theatre Fest. Jordan Thanks his amazing wife Aubrey, and beautiful children Sophronia and Michael Smith.


Anadine Marshall     F- The Witch  

Anadine is delighted to be returning to the stage—especially making her debut with the talented cast and production team of The Creekside Theater! She has previously appeared as Tituba in The Crucible, Olive in The Odd Couple, Regina in The Little Foxes, Kate in Brighton Beach Memoirs, Annie Sullivan in The Miracle Worker and Truvy in Steel Magnolias. She has also enjoyed directing, writing and producing The Lark and most recently her private work, Joseph Smith: Another Testament of Jesus Christ. She has 5 gorgeous kids and a dashing husband named Doug. She is currently the pantry manager of Tabitha’s Way Local Food pantry in American Fork and enjoys it intensely. She feels it is her great call and privilege to feed the hungry and food insecure in Utah County. Of all the theater work she has accomplished, her favorite has been entertaining children and seeing the delight in their eyes. She would like to thank all those who support her in her return to the stage and theater.



Arianna Nelson    G- Ensemble

Arianna Nelson is very excited to be an intern this year at The Creekside Theatre Festival! She's been doing theatre for 3 years with Liahona Drama, and has also been a part of their award-winning theatre competition teams. Her favorite productions include Our Town, and Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella. She's very grateful to be able to work with such a talented cast and crew! 




Brendon Nelson    G- Ensemble

This is Brendon's first time working with the Creekside Theater Festival.  Brendon attends Liahona Preparatory Academy where he was been in many shows directed by Jordan Long including Our Town by Thornton Wilder and Mary Stuart by Friedrich Schiller.





Hannah Nimer    M- Verges

Hannah Nimer is extremely excited to be part of this production of Much ado About Nothing playing the role of verges! This is Her first play out of school and she is thrilled to be working with this amazing cast. She has recently been in productions such as  A Midsummer Night's dream playing 'Helena' and The Man Who Came To Dinner as 'Maggie Cutler' at American Fork High school. She would like to Thank her friends and family for supporting and encouraging her!





Brandon Pack    M- Antonio

Brandon Pack will be joining the Creekside Theatre Festival for the fist time, and is very excited. Previous roles Brandon has played include Clayton in Tarzan, Thomas Diaforius in The Imaginary Invalid, an ensemble member in Sweeney Todd, Thenardier in Les Miserables, and Signior Gremio in The Taming of the Shrew. He graduated from American Fork High School in 2009. He has also been a life-long performer of Shakespeare, starting in his elementary school production of Macbeth as Macbeth, and competing many times in the Cedar City Shakespeare competition. He looks forward to this great season!




Steven Pack    M- Conrade

Steven is very excited to be a part of The Creekside Theater Festival’s production of Much Ado About Nothing. Some Previous shows include several productions at American Fork High School and with the AF Players. In addition, Steven is an aspiring filmmaker.






Kevin Peterson    M- Leonato

Kevin lives in Orem with his lovely wife and 8 children.  He has written 3 books (The Many Deaths of Mary, William and Salmolina, Pork Chops and Applesauce) and loves books, movies and video games.  He most recently played Harry Pepper, the Telephone Repair Man, in "Barefoot in the Park" at the Covey Center. A role he previously played while attending BYU.  Prior to that most recent run, he debuted the role of Walter in  "The Good Wife's Guide" at the Mercury Theatre as part of the Utah New Works 10 Project.  Kevin is excited to once again dive into "Much Ado About Nothing,"another show  he first performed in at BYU.



Madelyn Pettingill    M- Ursula

Madelyn is a hobbyist actor with a particular affinity for Shakesperian works. Most recently she has been seen in a broad handful of roles with Grassroots Shakespeare company, including: Maria in Twelfth Night, and Oswald in King Lear. When not on stage, she can be found enthusing over board games, or in the kitchen baking or experimenting on dishes with entirely too much garlic.





Katie Rowley    M- The Watch

Kathryn Rowley is so thankful for the opportunity to work with this festival. Other Shows - Seussical the Musical(Mrs. Mayor), Twelfth Night(Maria), The Giver(Mother), Our Town(Emily). Thank you to my brother, Joseph, who helped me gain my love of theatre and my family for supporting me in it.





Mason Shanks    G- Asher

Mason is thrilled to be making his Creekside Theatre Fest debut. Mason has performed professionally in Pioneer Theater Company’s productions of The Music Man, It Happened One Christmas, and Oliver. He has also performed locally in numerous productions including Saturday’s Warrior, Mary Poppins, and Barnum the Circus Musical. Mason has been seen in Disney Channel’s Andi Mack, MarVista Entertainment’s Waffle Street, and in other local advertisements.





Bradley Southard    G- Father    M- Borachio

Brad's passion for theater began in 8th grade when he tried out for his first musical, Once on This Island.  Since then, he has been in West Side Story, Les Miserables and Sweeney Todd (where he played the title role). He had the opportunity to teach high school theater in Washington, where he also directed Fiddler on the Roof and The Nerd, and produced A Night of One Acts. He is excited to be in his first Shakespeare production under the director who started it all for him  Brad is also excited to play the role of Father in The Giver. Brad hopes you enjoy the shows as much as he does!



Gabriel Spencer    M- Claudio


This is Gabe's second season as an actor with the Creekside Theatre Fest.  He was recently seen in Once On This Island (TonTon Julian) at the Creekside. Gabe graduated from Brigham Young University with a BFA in Acting.  Regional acting credits include productions at Hale West Valley, Lagoon Entertainment, and the Sandy Amphitheatre. Broadcasting and Film credits include Art Department on The Cokeville Miracle, Production Assistant for KUTV Channel 2 News,The LDS Church's new Book of Mormon series and DJ for KRCL 90.9 FM. Gabe has taught theatre at Liahona Preparatory Academy, Lincoln Academy and is currently a Theatre Department Chair at Pioneer High-School for the Performing Arts in American Fork.


Shaunna Thompson    M- Beatrice


Shaunna Thompson has been a stage actress since she was eight and a film actress for the past 23 years. It has been her lifelong passion. She has performed numerous times at both Hale Center Theaters, BYU, the Scera, the Castle Theater, Midvale Arts, and Park City. She has enjoyed coaching and directing children in various high school and performing arts settings.  She’s felt extremely blessed with many opportunities in the film industry to travel, host, carry lead roles in movies, commercials, voiceovers, and many projects for the LDS Church. She’s so excited to come back to her first love, “The Bard”, and utter his beautiful words, once again. Many thanks to her family and especially her adored husband, who has patiently watched her spread her wings, over the years, and visit the stage when she needs to.


Marco Vega    M- Dogberry


Marco Antonio Vega is a real Utah Valley local; graduating from American Fork High School in 2009! He later attended Southern Utah University where he received his BA in Theater Arts and began his work with the Utah Shakespeare Festival. Some of his Utah Shakes credits include, Bardolph- Henry V, Demetrius- Midsummer, and Laertes for the Shakespeare-in-the-schools tour of Hamlet. He has also worked with the Reduced Shakespeare Company playing Himself in their latest play, William Shakespeare's Long Lost First Play (abridged). He is currently preparing to begin his MFA at the University of San Diego.



Elyse Wilkins    G- Ensemble

Elyse is a natural actress. She has been in multiple marketing videos including a Living Scriptures viral video with Studio C’s James Perry that received 2,500,000 views. She is currently playing the part of Roquefort in Disney’s Aristocats at Liahona Preparatory Academy. Elyse loves to sing, dance, and perform and has started a musical theater performing group with her fourth grade classmates. They cast, choreograph, rehearse, advertise, and perform scenes from their favorite musicals all on their own! Elyse has a bright future in the drama world.



Joseph Wilkins    G- Ensemble

Joseph had his first experience with drama at Liahona Preparatory Academy in 2017 when he was cast as the cat in Captain Louie Jr. and is currently cast as Frederick in the 1850’s play Dead Shot. He also was recently featured in a viral video with Studio C’s James Perry made by Living Scriptures that received 2,500,000 views. Joseph specializes in performing comedy. He loves to laugh and make others laugh. He is especially talented at taking on the voices and mannerisms of ridiculous characters he has studied. He appreciates the creative and interesting story of The Giver and is excited to be involved with Creekside Theater Company.




Tayven Yeager

Tayven Yeager has played one of the king’s children in “The King and I” and shot one commercial for Young Living. He’s so excited to play “boy” in his first Shakespeare play!  This is Tayven's first season with the Creekside Theatre Fest.
